Telehealth sessions are an option and the platform is very user friendly. Wendy Maxwell is board certified in tele-mental health.
A first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know each other, in addition for you to tell your story about your issues in the way that you see them. Also, the therapist will discuss with you your goals for treatment and administer any necessary assessments.
Sessions are generally one hour. Longer sessions are available if needed and requested ahead of time.

It is also important to keep in mind that each insurance policy is different, even under the umbrella of the same general carrier, and having insurance is not a guarantee of payment. Individual questions related to an out-of-pocket cost can be answered individually.
